Traffic control sees to it that the departing buses and gate numbers are correct, and that this is displayed in the terminal. By keeping close contact with bus carriers and drivers, traffic control can ensure safe bus traffic at the terminal.
The Cityterminalen traffic control manages an estimated 50 000 departures per year, which is all the buses arriving or departing from the terminal. A traffic controller maintains contact with approximately 300 bus carriers around the country, and an even larger amount of drivers.
